Sattva Secrets began with a simple question: why does skincare ask us to compromise?
For years, Claudia followed every promise of better skin. Multi-step routines, trending launches, shelves filled with products. The results were always temporary. Even when something worked, it often came with ingredients she did not fully trust.
Nitin’s experience was different, but the frustration was the same. With dry, easily reactive skin, most products only made things worse. He began studying labels, researching formulations, and asking a more fundamental question. Was skincare meant to mask problems, or support the skin long term?
We kept encountering the same trade-off. Products were either clean but ineffective, or effective but compromised by questionable ingredients. We believed it should not have to be either.
That belief led us to Ayurveda, a time-honored system of healing that views skin not as something to fix, but something to support, restore, and strengthen through balance and patience.
